First, you need to ensure that all your Shopify products and variants have unique identifiers like GTINs and MPNs. Google uses these identifiers to accurately match reviews to the right items in your feed. Without them, the mapping may fail, or reviews may not display at all.
Once this is completed, confirm that you are subscribed to AdNabu’s Advanced Plan. If not, kindly upgrade before proceeding with the integration.
Then, in AdNabu, go to
‘Settings’ → ‘Integration’ → ‘Product Reviews’, and for item IDs, select
‘Use the default product ID format (shopify_{country}{product_id}{variant_id})’. For Group IDs, select
‘Use SKU as group ID format.’ Remember, this second change will update all item group IDs in your Shopping feed to SKUs.
Next, enable Google Shopping feeds in Okendo. From your Shopify account, open the Okendo app, go to
Settings → Integrations → Google Shopping, and toggle on
‘Enable Google Shopping feed.’ You can read more about this process in detail on the
Okendo Help page.
Finally, raise a support ticket in AdNabu from the Product Review section by clicking
‘Generate.’ You will be taken to the
‘Google Shopping Integration - Product Reviews’ Google form. Within that, add your email, Shopify store URL, select Okendo as your review platform, and include any notes if necessary. Then submit the form.
After submission, AdNabu will send the product feed, while Okendo will send the product review feed to Google Merchant Center. Google may take up to 14 days to review, approve, and map both feeds. Once approved, verified star ratings and review counts will start displaying automatically.
