Google Merchant Center feed rules provide an automated way to add extra product attributes or information to your listings. With this feature, you can add set values to product titles and descriptions.

What product details can I customize using Feed Rules?

You can customize the product title and description.

How do I create a Feed Rule?

To create a feed rule in AdNabu, navigate to ‘Settings’ > ‘Feed Rules’ and enable the feature. Click "Add Rule", select either the Title or Description field, and choose the target country and language.

Insert predefined values or custom text at the beginning or end of the field. Click ‘Submit’ to finalize. Your new rules will appear on the Feed Rules page, and changes will apply to the selected fields shortly after saving.

What values can I insert as rules?

Currently, you can insert predefined values like brand or size or input your custom text.

Can I use Feed Rules to add brand names to product titles?

Yes, you can. There is also an option to specify whether to insert the brand name at the start or the end of the product title using Feed Rules.

I am using Google Merchant Center next, can I still use the feed rules feature?

Yes, you can. Our app extends the functionality to Google Merchant Center Next users as well. However, you must be on the Advanced or Plus plan of our app.

Can I revert changes made by a Feed Rule?

Yes, you can delete the rule by accessing ‘Settings’ and then ‘Feed Rules’. Use the kebab menu (⋯) to delete the desired feed rule.

When a rule is created, does it automatically update on Google Merchant Center?

Yes, any changes from newly created feed rules are automatically reflected in your Google Merchant Center.

How to add feed rules to language and country specific feeds?

To target specific languages and countries, select the desired country and language from the dropdown menu when you are setting up the feed rules. This will allow you to tailor your feed rules to specific markets.
